To keep the downtime for our clients minimum and to carry out repair and maintenance jobs while their vessels continue on their charter routes, we have set up Riding Teams of skilled personnel who can fly to the nearest port and board the vessel to carry out their task. As we have in-house facilities to make the travel arrangements, our Riding Teams can take off even at a short notice. All personnel are in possession of Seaman's Book & have also undergone basic STCW(95) training courses.

At Martek, we have over 200 multi-skilled Riding Team members highly experienced & well-qualified in their trades. The team includes Boiler Makers, Coded Welders, Fabricators, Engine Fitters, Blasters/Painters & Riggers. Apart from regular maintenance jobs, our Riding Team is capable of undertaking various specialised repairs such as Boiler Retubing, Manufacturing & Installation Of Heating Coils, Large Scale Steel Renewals, Pipeline Renewals, Rebuilding of Auxiliary Engines, Cargo Crane Repairs, Upgradation of Ballast Tanks & many more.
